I know a lot of people that purchased this "game" understand but I'm not sure why everyone else doesn't. I come here from time to time only because I feel like Funcom ripped me off when I purchased their so called game. I beleive this has contributed a lot to the games recent decline. I personally thought, wow the forums are following the MA content as well with regards to language etc. Sure you got the haters going off the handle, but it is freedom of speech.

May, June there was pretty much free for all on those forums which i thought was pretty cool. Mind you I think this was the first time (or close to) where posts started to disappear and the great thread locking started.
Two more pages of replies (and not one reply with the usual in before the lock post) it disapeared again. So i reposted exclaiming what was going on, was it a bug i thought (lol). I had looked back to see what replies i got and had reached say 3 pages when suddenly the post disappeared. In my pos I asked openly how many people werent re-subing after the first paid month. My post was against the TOS of course, but it was July 9 when the term TOS wasnt heavily harped on about as much as it is now. I just got banned for ever with no email responce or locked thread. LOL at least you got a reply and an email for your ban. Maybe you will be happy when the only ones left playing is the dev staff, and the FoA volunteers. So Piss off AoC player mods, take your censorship and choke on it. I have sent repeated emails to Famine in regards to Lufkin, with proof where he is out of line, But nothing happens,

Lufkin, and Hackthorr both have been abusing their powers for some time. Nor did I BASH FunCom (much.lol)īut seriously, a SIX MONTH FORUM BAN>? I do not deny I was a "hater" on the AoC forums, but you know what? I never went overboard. I said this so that players knew where the limitations of the mods are, and so that they arent looked at as speaking to the playerbase as a liason to the devs.įor this clarification, HackThorr issued me a six MONTH forum ban. I said they had "zero, zip, o, zilch, nada" when it comes to talking with the devs. I responded by saying that in no way, do volunteer moderators talk to the devs. Then he asked the rest of the player base to be nice to the player mods. So a user makes a post saying he was thankful that the mods (player volunteer) had the ears of the devs, and was grateful that the mods shared the players concerns with the devs.
